1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of any data you send us is:

Where we are and where we process your data. Briceño Prince is a United States company, located in and operating from the United States. Your data is received and processed in the United States.

We have no Spanish tax identification number, because we are not a Spanish entity. Even so, we comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for people located in the European Union, because Article 3(2) GDPR applies to companies outside the EU that offer services to people inside it.

2. What data we collect

This page has no form. There is no subscription box, no mailing list sign-up, and no download that asks for your details. The only thing here is a link to write to us by email.

So we only process data if you decide to write to info@briceno-prince.com. In that case we process:

Your email address.
Whatever you tell us in the message: your name if you sign it, your company, your enquiry, and any other detail you choose to include.
Any files you attach, if you attach any.

You decide what you tell us. Please do not include sensitive data in your email (health, beliefs, third-party data) that is not necessary for what you are asking about.

Technical data from your visit. Like any website, ours is served from a hosting provider that logs technical connection data, for example your IP address and browser, in order to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. We do not use those logs to profile or identify you.

3. What we use your data for

To read and reply to your message.
To follow up on that conversation if it leads to a possible professional collaboration.

Nothing else. Writing to us does not add you to any mailing list, we do not build profiles, we do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell or share your email with third parties for their advertising.

If we ever add a form or a mailing list, we will update this policy before doing so.

4. Why we are allowed to process your data (legal basis)

We process your data because you wrote to us: it is your own request, as a step prior to a possible professional relationship (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If your message does not lead to a professional relationship, our legitimate interest in handling and filing the communication we received (Article 6(1)(f)) covers the time we keep it.

We do not ask you for consent, because right now we do nothing that requires it: there are no marketing mailings and no advertising tracking.

5. Who else processes your data

We do not share your data with third parties. We do use technical providers who, in doing their job, process data on our behalf:

Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation, USA), which hosts the info@briceno-prince.com mailbox we use to read and answer your messages. It is the only provider that touches the content of your email.
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which hosts this website. It processes the technical connection data described in section 2, and the visit measurement described in section 6.

We do not currently use GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc.) or Amazon SES for this page, because there is no form and no mailing list. If we ever switched them on, we would say so here first.

Beyond those providers, we would only disclose data if a law or an authority required us to.

6. Cookies, measurement and what we store in your browser

This site uses no cookies. Neither ours nor third-party ones. That is why you will not see a cookie banner: there is nothing to accept.

What there is, is this:

Your language preference. If you switch the page between English and Spanish, we store that choice in your own browser so we do not have to ask again. It never leaves your device, we cannot see it, and it identifies no one. You can delete it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Visit measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It tells us how many people come and which pages get viewed. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not follow you across different sites, and builds no profile of you. Cloudflare already hosts this page, so no new third party is involved.
The fonts on this site are hosted here. They used to be requested from Google, which sent your IP address to Google every time you opened the page. That no longer happens: loading this site makes no request to any third-party server.

7. How long we keep your data

If your enquiry does not lead to a professional relationship: we keep the email for as long as it may still be useful to the thread and, at most, a reasonable filing period; after that we delete it.
If it does lead to a professional relationship: for as long as that relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the legal limitation periods of the applicable tax and contractual obligations.
You can ask us at any time to delete your message, and we will, unless we have a legal obligation to keep it.

8. Your rights and how to exercise them

If you are in the European Union, the GDPR gives you the right to:

Access: know what data of yours we hold.
Rectification: correct it if it is inaccurate.
Erasure: ask us to delete it.
Objection: object to our using it.
Portability: take your data to another provider.
Restriction: ask us to freeze its use while a query or complaint is resolved.

To exercise them, write to info@briceno-prince.com stating which right you want to exercise. We will reply within one month at the latest.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority of the EU country where you live or work. Because we are not established in the European Union, there is no single Spanish authority supervising Briceño Prince: the competent authority is the one in your own country. If you live in Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es); if you live in Germany, Portugal, Italy or another Member State, it is that country's authority. 9. Minors

This page is aimed at professionals and companies. It is not intended for minors and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

As a United States company, we follow the COPPA rule: we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. For people in the European Union, Article 8 GDPR sets the digital consent age between 13 and 16 depending on the country, and we respect the one that applies in your country of residence.

If we find that a minor below that age has written to us, we will delete their data.

10. Changes to this policy

If anything relevant changes (for example, if we add a form, a mailing list or a new provider), we will update this page and note the date of the last revision.
